HIVE HEAD
costume mask

Rumors that a swarm of flesh eating bees were terrorizing the Southern United States brought us to Butterbean, Georgia, population 87 (and shrinking). We secured this specimen of the bees at work in their intermediate stages, having consumed nutrients from the victim to construct their hives. Apparently the flesh acquires a brittle, wooden quality, making it easy to saw through with hand or small power tools.

Hand cast and painted latex mask with bees and thin hair attached. Also available as a prop head, filled with flexible foam with an embedded length of pvc pipe for easy attachment to a body.
