Recent and Upcoming Events...

The news section has always been a little too quiet and I'd like to change that. Here's what we've been up to recently:

S.A. exhibited at the Eastern Haunter's Convention in early May. It was a great opportunity to catch up with customers and vendors alike that we haven't seen in a while. I was also on hand at Eastern State Penitentiary for the Terror Behind the Walls bus tour to handle costumes and makeup and answer questions. Some members of my makeup crew from Eastern State participated in the makeup war and won first place!

The ESP makeup team: Shaggy, Bridget, Ruby and Robin.

It brought a little tear to my eye; I felt like a proud momma. It's great to have a haunt convention in your own backyard, and I think this one is only going to get bigger and better in seasons to come.

On a side note, during May I also worked for Monkey Boys Productions as a fabricator for Little Shop of Horrors. They built a set of Audrey II's to rent out to theatre companies, and they have also worked on the Broadway and touring productions of Little Shop. I got to work with a fantastic group of talented (and hilarious!) people and did a little bit of everything. You can see more of their work here : http://www.monkeyboysproductions.com

Dave, our web designer updated the gallery and we added some of the items that we premiered at Transworld, including the grub sheets, grub gloves, and loose bees. Dave is rad. Check out his website, http://www.grendelsden.net/ and see for yourself.

And finally, we are attending The Midwest Haunters Convention!!!
